DAN O'BRIEN, REGINA JACOBS, MEREDITH RAINEY-VALMON AND SUZY HAMILTON HEADLINE NEW BALANCE INVITATIONAL AT REGGIE LEWIS TRACK & FIELD CENTER ON FEBRUARY 7

Olympic Decathlon Gold Medallist Dan O'Brien, American record holder Regina Jacobs (5000m) and 1996 US Olympic Track & Field Team members Meredith Rainey-Valmon and Suzy Hamilton will headline the fourth annual New Balance Invitational to be held at the Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center on Sunday, February 7, from 2:30 p.m.- 5:00 p.m.

The New Balance Invitational, which will air on ESPN the week of February 8, will feature 13 elite races and some of the top names in international track & field.

O'Brien is set to compete in the long jump versus 1998 USATF outdoor champion Roland McGhee. Regina Jacobs will take on Nnenna Lynch and Sinead Delahunty in the 3000m while Meredith Rainey-Valmon prepares to square off against Suzy Hamilton in the 800m.

Other athletes scheduled to appear are Dennis Mitchell (60m), Obadale Thompson (200m), Tyree Washington (400m), Rich Kenah (1000m), Richie Boulet (mile), Kevin Sullivan (mile) and Roger Kingdom (60H).

On the women's side, confirmed to compete are Melissa Morrison (60H), Cheryl Dickey (60H), Inger Miller (60m), Savatheda Fynes (60m), Jearl Miles-Clark (200 m), Kellie Suttle (pole vault)
